Brew Guide Instructions
AeroPress
From the inventors of the Frisbee, AeroPress can produce anything from a remarkably smooth filter-style cup to a powerful espresso - depending on how you use it.
You will need:
- Clean AeroPress with a fresh filter
- Digital Scales
- Fine to medium ground coffee
Instructions
- Boil some water, and fill your mug to pre-heat.
- Insert the plunger about 2cm into the brew chamber, place upside down, the 4 towards the bottom.
- Place the funnel on top, weigh your coffee, and pour into the Aeropress.
- Pour in your hot water, just off the boil. Gently stir the coffee, being careful not to knock the Aeropress over. Leave to sit for 30-60 seconds, then stir again.
- Place a filter paper in the filter cap, and rinse it well before screwing it onto the brew chamber tightly.
- Place your pre-warmed mug upside down over the Aeropress and confidently, yet carefully flip over and press the plunger down to brew into your mug and serve.
