Costa Rica is an extraordinary country. With a lush mountain range, secret rainforests, and blessed with volcanic rich soil, it’s no wonder coffee grows so well here.  Our Swiss Water Decaf Coffee is a unique celebration of Costa Rican coffee. Extremely fertile soils have led to exceptional growing conditions that have enabled coffee farmers to focus on quality and education.

Known for being beautifully aromatic and sweet with a clean taste, this decaf is medium-light bodied and delicate. With rich flavour notes of fresh peaches and walnuts, this smooth coffee grows in rich volcanic and clay soils near THE gorgeous dark sands of the Costa Rican coast.

Costa Rica was the first Central American country to establish a successful coffee industry and the first port of call was England in 1832. There are eight diverse growing regions namely, Guanacaste, West Valley, Central Valley, Tres Rios, Turrialba, Orosi, Tarrazu, Brunca.

In recent years, micro mills for coffee processing have been built to facilitate full traceability and quality initiatives.   Blessed with some of the most wonderful biodiversity on the planet, we are excited to introduce this coffee into our Decaf range.

The country is situated in a prime position on the globe.  As much for loved for coffee flavour and characteristics, as well as tourism, we can trust that consistently superior coffee from this origin will be consistent for years to come.
