We’re often asked, ‘How is Coffee Decaffeinated’. This short video explains it perfectly:
Decaf: Kenya Lenana AB
At last, a Kenya decaf! A blend of AB grades from traceable sources delivered to numerous wet-mills in the Farmers Cooperative Societies by smallholders generally average only 200 trees each. At the wet mill the cherries undergo sorting prior to being pulped, fermented and washed before being dried on raised beds. This makes for a classic Kenya that has been naturally decaffeinated by the Swiss Water Process, giving the beans a delightful finish whilst retaining a the smooth, rich flavour, full of body that’s so typical of the best Kenya beans.
Perfect for Cafetières, Filter and a lighter Stovetop or Espresso…and of course, Aeropress, another great all-rounder!
