Established in 1964, Huadquiña is a renowned smallholder cooperative in Sacred Valley, which lies in the Andean mountains near Santa Teresa, Cusco, close to Machu Picchu.
Huadquiña holds several organic certifications as well as Fairtrade. For Huadquiña farmers, it is culturally significant to work as closely as possible with nature, which they correctly feel deserves to be respected for the life and income it provides.
With coffee grown between 1800 – 2200 metres, the high altitude in the Sacred Valley leads to a complex high-quality cup, with a rich, full bodied flavour.
