Huila is one of Colombia’s great coffee heartlands, and this is a very good example of why. It’s sweet, smooth and easy to love.

In the cup, soft caramel sweetness leads, and a lively citrus brightness lifts it without ever turning sharp. The body is smooth and the finish is clean, with nothing bitter. Every part of the cup sits comfortably alongside the others. It’s an easy coffee to come back to, and it works well in a cafetière, a filter or a moka pot.

Colombia – South America

Coffee has been cultivated in Colombia since the early nineteenth century, and today the country is one of the world’s largest producers of washed Arabica coffee. Its varied elevations and climates create remarkable diversity, with regional flavour profiles differing significantly across the country.

Typical taste characteristics include caramel, chocolate, red fruits, citrus and tropical fruit, with balanced acidity and a rounded body.
