Delivery and Returns
We aim to fulfil orders placed before 12 noon on the same working day.
We currently offer three shipping options for the UK, depending on your location:
Royal Mail 1st Class
DPD Next Day (UK Mainland Only) – Next working day
Rates and service availability are calculated at checkout but if you have a special delivery request, please contact us by email before completing your order. We will always do our best to help keep your delivery costs to a minimum.
Where offered, free delivery is available to a single address on the UK mainland. If you would like delivery to multiple addresses from one qualifying order, please contact us. Your primary delivery point will be free of charge, any extra delivery points will be chargeable at our standard rates.
Free Delivery is calculated against the total cart price after any qualifying discounts/coupon values have been deducted. For example, if you apply a coupon for a 10% discount on a basket totalling £25, your balance will be £22.50 which will not qualify for free delivery if the threshold is set at £25 or above.

HM Forces Overseas:
The British Forces Post Office® (BFPO) offers discounted mail delivery. There’s no charge for Forces Airletters (Blueys) sent to personnel on operational duty. We can send items weighing up to 2kg using:
HM Forces Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed (please note that with BFPO mail we are unable to guarantee delivery time)
HM Forces Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For
There are very specific rules and regulations for using BFPO, so please only contact us if you are eligible.
Please note that transit times stated above are as per carrier and we cannot take responsibility for delivery delays and/or exceptions.
It matters a great deal to us that you enjoy your coffee, tea or any other product you have bought from us here at Reads. We realise that problems crop up from time to time so in the event of a problem, want to put things right as quickly as possible.
Coffee and Tea are perishable foodstuffs so unfortunately we cannot accept returns unless we have sent you the wrong product as a result of our error. All coffee is ground specifically to order to suit your brewing method, so please be very careful to choose the correct grind option at the point of order. If in doubt, contact us for advice.
Taste, flavours and brewing techniques are subjective and highly individual, so if you receive any coffee or tea that you don’t enjoy for any reason, please contact us as we will me more than happy to help with brewing advice and also offer suggestions for your next purchase that may be more to your taste.
