Giving back to growing communities

Monday 10th October 2022. Today is the first day of the nations biggest celebration of coffee, UK Coffee Week!

We’re excited to be supporting a brilliant fundraising campaign, to help change lives in coffee growing communities. We all enjoy the purest of water and it’s essential that we give back to the coffee growing communities.

A shocking 785 million people around the world do not have access to clean water. Mostly are isolated, rural areas – these are the communities at the end of our supply chain, playing a vital role in our industry.

Project Waterfall exists to unite the coffee industry and coffee drinkers to invest in projects bringing clean water, sanitation and hygiene to our coffee growing communities. By doing so child mortality rates will drop, girls can spend more time in school leading to more opportunities for woman and the dignity amongst these regions will be restored.

As the charity of choice for the coffee industry, Project Waterfall have raised over £1 Million, helping over 70,000 lives since 2011 in Nicaragua, Rwanda, Tanzania, Vietnam, Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia.

Project Waterfall have the knowledge and technology to develop solutions, to help solve this water crisis. With the ability to give every person on earth access to clean drinking water. So let’s raise funds & awareness, this UK Coffee Week!
