Cold Brew

Low acidity, smooth... and simple
You will need:

Approx. 5-7 servings per brew
4 brews per bag

340g bag of your favourite Reads Coffee (caffeinated or decaf)
425ml fresh filtered water
A wide-lipped jug or container – cafetière ideal, Muslin, filter paper of fine sieve
1 clean, sterilised bottle (for storing the concentrate)

Instructions

Step 1: MEASURE & MIX
• Brew ratio 1:5
• Take 85g coarse ground coffee
• Add 425 ml of filtered water
• Stir gently and cover the container

Step 2: BREW
• Let it brew at room temperature for 18 hours

Step 3: FILTER & STORE
• Filter the brew through a muslin, filter paper
or sieve; or press if using a large cafetiere
• Pour the filtered concentrate into a sterilised
bottle
• Store in the fridge for up to 7 days

Step 4: SERVE
• Add hot water for a delicious long coffee, or
cold with ice for a refreshing chiller
• Blend wit hot or cold milk of your choice for a
deliciously smooth latte
• Ideal for espresso martinis!
