Established in 2014 by Japanese born Katsuhiko, one of the smallest cooperatives in the region brings together just 7 or 8 dedicated producers, united by a shared commitment to quality, sustainability, and community. Rooted in strong family values, the cooperative operates in Rodríguez de Mendoza, a fertile and agriculturally significant area in Peru’s northern Amazonas region. This area is renowned for its cloud forests, rugged mountain terrain, and rich cultural heritage. The cooperative prioritises ethical and environmentally responsible production. Agronomist Jerry plays a vital role in supporting the members, offering training and technical assistance to help small producers continuously improve their farming practices and uphold the cooperative’s high standards.
