Dumerso is a small village, or kebele as it’s called in Amharic, located in Ethiopia’s Yirgacheffe district in the Gedeo zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region (SNNP).
The area is famous around the world for its incredible coffee, with some of the globe’s most sought-after microlots coming from here. High altitudes reaching up to 2,200 meters, rich soil, steady rainfall, and generations of local coffee-growing experience all work together to create the exceptional flavour that make Yirgacheffe coffees so distinctive.
